Downtown Camas Clean-up and Planting Day!
April 20, 2012This Sunday the 22nd (Earth Day) come down from 1-4pm and help make Downtown Camas shine! We will be doing bed and sidewalk clean-up, weeding, planting, and bark dust. We’d love to have you! Meet at 1pm at 4th and Cedar by Camas Hotel. Bring your garden gloves, buckets, shovels, spades–plenty to do! Journey Church will be serving hotdogs, chips and soda for volunteers. Thank you to the Downtown Camas Association, Skyridge and Liberty Middle Schools, Hayes Freedom High School, Journey Church, City of Camas, LJC Feed and Hidden Garden Nursery for all your help!
First Friday in May!
May 4th 5-8pm will bring the 7th annual Camas “Poker Tour” to Downtown Camas! Visit participating businesses for a “poker card” and then turn in all your cards (the more places you go, the better chance you have for a good hand!) by 8pm to Camas Antiques where real cards will be dealt for each card you collected throughout town. The 5 highest hands of the night win great prize baskets from the merchants! Watch the high hand board and see who wins. More info and the flyer at www.downtowncamas.com. Fun!
